Which side is up?

    Replacing the accelerator pump diaphragm. Which side goes toward the carb? Side with writing and large nub in center or other side!

    Rich if you go to your post of WHT is this there is a pretty good exploded pic of carb on #4 report from Lucifer. Shows the diaphram.

    All depends on what brand accelerator pump diaphragm you are using. Some have a lip on both sides and others have the raised lip only on one side (like those we sell from Cycle Pro). The one with the raised lip/edge on one side fit into the groove on the bowl side, whereas if there are raised edges on both sides they can go either way.
