No need to by a load tester as I know that the battery can test for proper voltage but not have the cranking amps. I went to run a volt test and it tested at 12.65 then I hit the switch and it turned once then, click click click click click. Tested volts afterwards and it was down to 11.2. Time for a new battery...:banghead:

A battery tender is what you need with that new battery. A load tester is $19.95 Harbor Freight and they have a sale flyer out with 20% off. :D

the problem with having it ready for a battery tender is that I have no real way to have the leads from the cables accessible for the tender. It is called a Battery Cover.

JB, the better battery tenders come with the leads that connect to the battery so that you can plug the tender in. Very easy, even a cave man can do it.

I got the new battery in. And shiit it didn't work... :( It worked Perfect!! Fired right up. then I figured I would check out my jerking problem that I am having in third gear. Took care of that too, just adjusted the primary chain. Man is that adjustment touchy....:D
