That sounds like what lives with me also. But never say that, always call them runners. She does 5k usually, but has completed a few 10ks also.

Same here, went on roof yesterday to take lights down, except if was just over 30. Not too bad, sunny and that made the roof warm. But I thought same thing, getting to old to sit on this roof and put up or take down lights... was real careful.

I used to walk on bridge catwalks hundreds of feet over the water. Now I can't be on an un level roof without getting vertigo. Even got it on the Rocky Mountain Natl Park road outside of Estes, Co. It sucks.

Heck I watched a movie the other night on TV about these guys claiming mountains. They were hanging onto ledges and my stomach was coming up. Getting to where I can't do super heights anymore. Heck, used to climb up ladders on a two story roof and climb right up inspect the roof and then down, not anymore.

I don't have a problem with single story roof but climbing up a 24 foot ladder and going up to the roof I'm OK as long as I don't look down.

-31 (-23.8 to you southern gents) a couple of days ago and forecasting +5 (+41) on Wednesday but still 2 1/2 feet of white slick stuff on the roads. At least we can still remember and dream of next riding season.

    • Somtimes if I get up from the couch to fast I get dizzy. Had to get up on the barn roof last year, about 20 feet. Legs started shaking involuntarily at first. Had to hold the nails in my mouth, hold sheet metal down with my elbows while hammering. Glad when I was done. Had the roof redone later in the year, don't need that chit. Better to pay for new roof then a hospital bill, lol.

Took Harley Fatboy (The Choc lab) for a 2 mile walk today in 26F. Had to work the bionic knee and get some cabin fever out of the dawg. Froze my cheeks off (all four of em).
