We are so screwed...Was snowing in NJ when I left at 5:50 but nothing here in the city yet...Gona catch the 3:30 bus...Suppose to have a few hours of 30 mph winds with gusts reaching 50 to 70... No doubt some will loose power...Tomorrow will be very interesting... May log in from home....One downside is I now have to put up with the MIL for two days which will be difficult for me as we do not get along...At all!!!

My FIL decided that he would be the hero for my wife. He was at my house yesterday "getting my generator prepped" for my wife. He had me on the phone while he was screwing with it. It's a Honda and always starts with a few pulls and partial choke. He's a effin expert in everything and He effed it up and now it won't start! I really hope we don't loose power since I'm here in AZ. More shirt for me to worry about for my wife

He's ADHA. Lost cause. Trying to tell him something is impossible. He thinks everything should be his way. I told him put gas in and wait 5 mins for gas to get to carb. He didn't. I told him pull choke half way, he pulled it all the way closed because that's the "right" way to use choke. He pulled the start cord about 20. So I am sure he eventually flooded it. He wanted to know where the throttle is he couldn't accept its automatic. I just love how he's always telling me how my stuff works or should work. God forbid I know more than him in front of his daughter.

Other than that how do you and him get along. :D

I feel for you cause I know how frustrating that can be especially when you are so far away. My wife has a nephew here who is always tring to help her down at the beach house. I keep telling her no do not let Toby fix it. Even worse is her younger big fat lazy arse brother.
