We don't have any snow here to speak of, even the mountains are without snow and many of the ski lifts are waiting for snow. We have a Pineapple Express that is now coming in with warm temps and lots of rain.

After I watched it a diesel powered snow blower popped up at the end and showed it in deep snow. Chewed right through it.

BI, you guys ever run chains? I know here when they get even six inches people are chaining up, but then we have a lot of hills to go up and down.

Don't use chains, we do studded tires but it's not necessary so far.

Really? The roads are so suspect in NJ how can they tell its because of studded tires, lol.

They have to be off by April 1st up here.

Most people here when it snows even four inches chain up as we get a heavy wet snow. Stuff packs down into ice then will freeze again overnight. Makes it really hard to drive in without four wheel drive.

    Wow, winter wonderland.

We did get those high winds Fatboy mentioned that we were gonna get. 50 MPH winds and then gusts, which don't sound to bad. But you take into consideration all the rain we got in the last two weeks the ground was a bit soft. A lot of those big tall Douglas Fir trees we have came down. One not to far from us cut a house clear in two right to the ground. Several trees down with loss of power everywhere. We luckily got spared of that, don't know how. Rivers overflowing all over, stranded drivers in high water. Sure be glad when winter is over and bet all you guys with the snow will be as well.

So much for the so called global warming. I think those proponents of it should bury their heads in a snow drift.

On another note it's been sunny and warm here during the day. Been doing some riding and tomorrow a friend and I will ride down to the gun show.
Yesterday was over 65 and some areas hit 68. Now even for us this time of year that's pretty good. So taking advantage of it while I can.
