    It's a difficult proposition. Keeping the driveway clear and driving to work and back is a heck of a lot of activity.

    Last thing I do in the summer is tune up the snowblower and kubota and get on a fuel budget. So far 2 tank fills at about 3.29 a gallon,down a good 30-40 cents a gallon.

    I'm so glad we mostly get rain and not snow. It was 63F out this evening at 5:30 PM when we went to the HOG chapter meeting. Traffic sucked big time going but coming home was much better.

    We are hovering in dangerous conditions right now. Snowed about 8 inchs over about 2-3 inchs of slush and temp is holding...for now..at 32 degrees. Cars all in the ditch and red/blue lights flashing all over.

    Here on the front range of the rocky mountains it has been inthe high 50's since sunday and supposed to hit low 60's tomorrow and Friday, but it gets down into low 30's high 20's over night.

    Our wind storm has hit and worried about all the big trees in the front of the house. The wind is blowing directly at us from the west and our big Doug Fir trees are bending pretty hard. Some of those trees are big enough to cut our house in half. Temps are up but we did loose power for a bit. Bikes are tucked away in the shop and not in any direct path of one of those trees.
