Brings back memories Josh. Back in the mid '80's my '83 FL and my '63 FL both had the same paint job, emron black w/ orange peel flames. I paid for one registration and would switch plates as whatever I was riding. One day as I was heading to Pink Hill I got pulled over in Jenny Lind and the cop never blinked not knowing the difference other then the paint scheme as written on the reg. Granted that was before HD's were really popular as they are now and it was in the middle of where the heck am I North Carolina. And as far as sober...NC doesn't play. And they are strict about DOT helmets too. I once seen a NC State cop give a group of bikers a choice, either take a ride over to the motorcycle shop and purchase legal DOT helmets or have bikes towed.

The one weird thing is no eye protection needed. Them bugs are huge in the summer after dark. I mean golf ball huge, lol. Catch one of those mothers in the eye and you're blinded for life, lol.

I don't think anyone is crazy enough to not wear some kind of eye protection - day or night.
