I eat lots for my size! Usually 4 or 5 times a day. My wife and all my ex-girl friends have tried to fatten me up and in the process, THEY got fat!

Oh man! It's been a long time since I saw 140. Come to think of it, I was a sophomore in high school, and the coach said I was too small to play football, so I went out for baseball and track.

The Marine Corps fattened me up to 170, then starved me down to 150 when I was in VietNam. That was over 40 years ago.......wish I still had that body though.

Of the 58 pictured in our platoon graduation photo, only 6 of us came back home.

Bought a jacket and leather chaps from Leatherup, pretty pleased with them. Jacket has waterproof liner and insulated vest inside. Does not take the place of a good leather jacket, but did not have the money to spend. Jacket well made, good ventilation and by changing which liners you use, kinda have 3 jackets. The chaps now, I really like them. Bought the mid priced. They are thick, well made, have the stretch panels to make em comfortable sitting and fit exactly as they said.

I have gotten a pair of engineer boots from Leatherup and had to do some major reworking of the insoles. They are fine now. I've heard from one guy that the leather they use in their motorcycle jackets is a bit on the thin side. Also that the stitching sometimes comes loose in places.
I'm going with a jacket from US1 Leather.

Mac the Wife hinted that I might be getting a motorcycle jacket for Christmas. Wanted to know particulars and when I told her, she said it was a bit of of her budget. So, we are going to compromise and she will get me one of those denim jackets from Leatherup that has the armor in the shoulders. Pretty cool! She has been wanting a bicycle for the longest time and I'm going to get her one of those Schwin styled bikes with the big springer seat. Perfect for around here.

Yesterday I found a black denim jacket made in the style of the one Brando wore in the Wild Ones. It's from a company here in N.C. called Jafrum International. 'Course the jacket is undoubtedly made in the Orient, but it has shoulder and elbow armor, a zip out liner and looks cool. Comes in blue, too. Mac the Wife has been notified!

Cool pic, Alex. It's gonna be close to Christmas but no matter. I'll ride it at least around town to begin the break in period even if it's really cold. Mac the Wife really likes my bike but she's worried I'm gonna go off the high side. I told her I'd put a front brake on it eventually and she said, "What? You don't have a front brake?" I thought she knew!

I am definitely getting the black denim jacket for Christmas. Mac tells me she may give it to me early providing I get the Beast on the road . . .
