$40 yearly tax grab up here for the bike, I think $24 for the 4 wheeler, but that is going up, and $120ish for the truck a year. Wife's car is about $80.

Here we pay every two years and same fee if it's new or 25 years old. Fee went up thanks to the Demorats and is now $88.00 per vehical. Does not matter pickup or car.
There is no inspection except for a EPA exhaust tail pipe test every two years. Thanks to the Demorats here again.

Bikes are less and think it's every two years.

In AZ the regi fees are higher than yours every year but there is no state income tax so that's how the state gets taxes from ya through registration fees of about 600.

We do have a state income tax, but got a lot back from the state this year and had to pay the Feds. But we don't have a sales tax.
Car, pickup, bike and a trailer can all be done through the mail. Wonder when they will get a web site so you can pay online. Oh wait, they couldn't even get a website for Oregon health care going and finally after waisting billions of Oregon tax payers dollars the Governor just resigned in disgrace. Besides we have to keep all the over weight lesbians employed who work for the state.

I think they all get us one way or the other. I love it as here the predominately democrat liberal county in Portland has the most outrageously high property taxes I have ever heard of. I've heard of upwards to 5 grand a year for a standard 3 bed one bath older house in some areas there. But the A-Hole little yuppie liberals like it there.

They don't have state income tax so the state gets their money through auto registrations. AZ does the same

But AZ also has a Sales tax. We have a state income tax but no sales tax, not that they haven't tried.

In most of those states they add an annual property tax to your
vehicle registration, the tags are not that expensive per it's individual
fee it's the massive state property tax

I hear a lot of people "say" that the no income tax states are high
property tax states, that's BS, go to Jersey or NY and check out
the high state taxes, super high property taxes and income tax, sales
tax, county tax, burrogh tax, you guys pay out the wazzoo....

That's why my wazzoo hurts all the time! BTW, the property taxes on the homes in AZ are 1% of the sale price of the house. AND, the public schools SUCK! My grandkids are in charter schools. Thats the one thing positive about here, the property taxes are high but if you got school age children, the schools are some of the best (But NOT in NYC).
