Its really getting hard to say that Nascar is totally Redneck anymore. Shoot, their going to be going to EFI  so I guess you can say they are a modern Redneck sport. Sure better than basketball. :puke:
But really if you watch and see all the technology that is in the sport and all the technology that goes from the track to the car you may be driving I guess you could say they have come a long way and evolved into a modern sport.

The real draw of the races if you go is the audience and spectators.

The crowd is really crazy in the camping areas the night before the race. Lots of rednecks yes, but rednecks with $500,000 coaches.

Two years ago I went to the Texas race and there was a stretch golfcart full of Silicone clad females running around collecting beads with their kids on the back of the cart.:banghead:Sometimes I just don't understand people.

Uncle Sam has oked the Brass hats to fund a race team this year again. That's at least one place I don't mind spending my tax dollar. At least you get something back for your buck. :D
Besides if they kicked all those drivers out of a job on the track then we would have to deal with them on the highway. :roflmao: That means only CB could run with them with his new souped up? bike. Have to get him a bigger lid to fit his head.:roflmao:
