    Well while you was building boats the people here where the first to generate electricity from one city to another. Oregon City also had a Naval ship named for it CA-122. We did have Indians and the Mountain Man Joe Meek who became the first US Marshal in the territory hung 3 of them in down town Oregon City for the Whitmen massacre.

    We have injuns too but the blood lines have been diluted over the years by former slaves. They live on 2 reservations here.

    Sure wished I knew of you back in 2010 when we did our trip back east, would have loved to stop and meet you. We did see a little bit of Asheville when we came down from the trail. Nice area for sure.
