Just got done cleaning my New Agent for the first time. Real simple to take down but the reassembly was abit tricky, not so much getting things in the right order, just getting the slide stop in correctly was a pain in the ass. Got it back together and safety checked. Good to go.

Our chapter rode to Hood River then up to Parkdale today for the annual Blossom Ride. Weather was superb for this time of year, sunny and 78F. This area is one of the largest Apple and Pear orchards in the Northwest. Picture of the group was from the Bonneval Dam rest area along the Columbia River. We crossed the river at the town of Hood River on a steel grated bridge. That's a really fun bridge as it feels like your riding on ice and is a good 3/4 mile across. The pic of the bike with the Apple Orchard is of one of the guys I rode up with. Will have even better pics to post when they get posted on the chapter website. One of the guys wives was taking some great pics from the back of their bike.

We'll SOB and hot skippy damn. Been in the 60's most of the week. Raining off and on removing the salt and dirt road is getting close to being 2 wheeled user friendly. Need to remove tarp, pack tour pac for the season and get the 6.5 radio new down load and other essential accessories ordered and installed. There is a new recall on the bike too. Working midnites and 12 hour shifts is not helping the cause, lol.
During the winter I just chuck all the gear in the saddlebags and tour pac to get out of the way and mouse proof. Can't leave chit exposed in the barn as the mice eat everything. Once they ate the cap to the snow blower because they could smell the corn in the ethanol and thought they were on to something, retards.

Hard to believe these stories, but then again..maybe not so hard to believe them as there are a lot of idiots all around us.
Nominee No. 1: [ San Jose Mercury News]:
An unidentified man, using a shotgun like a club to break a former girlfriends windshield, accidentally shot himself to death when the gun discharged, blowing a hole in his gut.
Nominee No. 2: [Kalamazoo Gazette]:
James Burns, 34, (a mechanic) of Alamo, MI, was killed in March as he was trying to repair what police describe as a "farm-type truck." Burns got a friend to drive the truck on a highway while Burns hung underneath so that he could ascertain the source of a troubling noise. Burns' clothes caught on something, however, and the other man found Burns "wrapped in the drive shaft."
