Hello everyone! First post newb here and glad to be here. I Bought my first bike a few weekends ago, its an '05 sportster 883 Low with only 1,687 miles on it and its nearly flawless. I bought the bike not running for a really good price, but it had 3 year old gas in it and the carb was completely caked up with green crap. I feel i have a good understanding of the carb as i have it apart and cleaned, and have all new parts from CV performance on the way. Between research of the CV carb online and factory manual im confident i can get it running good! However i have a few questions i can't seem to get answers for by searching:

1. Which spark plugs does the 883 like? Its an '05 like i mentioned so im sure i don't have to tell anyone its carb'ed. The carb will stay stock for now..i plan on...

I had a Harley-Davidson 65991-82B AGM battery go bad, so I looked, and found, a better deal on an aftermarket AGM "equivalent", http://www.bigtimebattery.com/store/replacement_ytx20-bs-hd_battery.html
the price was right, it was supposed to fit, but it's just a little too wide to fit my stock 1982 FXE cover. The battery fits the stock tray, but the chrome cover is not quite wide enough to fit the battery, and the terminals are not recessed, so if I put the top cover on it hits the positive post and shorts out. Right now I have a piece of cardboard placed under the battery in the tray, and the strap holding it down. This works, but I really don't like the looks of it. I was wondering if a cover and top cover from a later model Dyna Superglide might work. Anyone here ever made a...

Wondering how many have laws in their states where private sales of a gun have to go through a background check first. In other words if I sell or give my gun to my daughter she has to go through a background check.
Sense the Democrats have taken over here they are wanting to put that into place and it's being heavily fought by local gun rights activist and the NRA. Plus the country Sherrifs in the majority of the counties are not in favor of this.
