Hello there....Just want to ask where could I find the oil plug for the transmission? I look in my manual book and the drawing was different. I look under the trany box and I found that it is a socket head screw in level with the trany box. I tried to remove it and I guess I strip it. Now it it a liittle bit rounded. My bike is a 06 softail deluxe and was service the 1000 miles in the dealer. Now i have 4000 in it and I'd like to do the oil change. I already change the engine and the primary oil.... pls. help me find the oil plug for the trany? If it is the one I found how come it is a allen deep socket screw instead of a hex bolt....Any reply will be apreciated....

Finally, took my last final today at UNLV. This 15 units a semester for an older guy is taxing with working one shift a week at the hospital (working the night-shift tonight 7p-7a) and maintaining this huge house. My expectations are a little lower now that I'm in the nursing school itself. I had straight A's through all my biology and chemistry classes going in..now I've had straight B's two nursing semesters in a row. I may not be first in my class, but I'm not last. Which reminds me..what do you call a person who graduates last in their class in medical school? ........a doctor!
With no BikeTalk ride this year..I think I'll head back over the mountains into California (Yosemite) and spend Labor Day weekend in the mountains (it's 106ยบ in LV today) and just vegitate by the lake for a...

I'm riding home last night from work and an old woman has just cut me off...I'm in the slow lane of the 5 freeway at 1 AM in the morning. I think this person in this Mercedes has probably had a few drinks, so I detour way around her and there she is with that !#$^$! cell phone to her ear...She doesn't even know what she did and probably could care less...Does Direct Parts sell a 40mm cannon I could push a button and take care of problems like this? I bet it would be a hot selling item...and if we all got one, there would be less traffic...

As you all have prob. read in my previous post I am considering buying an '07 ultra, however I am very attached to my '04 Fatty, and really hate the idea of selling it,so heres my question.
Does anyone make a hitch for a softail, and is it recommended ? Are there towing problems with a Fatboy ? Will there be power issues ? I can't say that I have ever seen a hitch on anything other than a touring model,so I really don't know about this. But at three dollars + a gallon ,and my pickup getting 12-14 mpg,and my 1986 Tioga motorhome getting 5 mpg (pulling an 18 ft trailer w/ 3 bikes to sturgis this year) I am really looking into my options . Thanks in advance -John
