My '98 Road King is on it's third ECM with only 12,600 miles. I read an earlier post that says it could be from water entering the plug connectors. The bike hasn't had water on it in months; it's garaged all the time. When I asked the dealership why this keeps happening, they can't explain. When I asked them for a recommendation, they said trade it in; the newer bikes are better and don't experience this. This is what they told me when I bought the bike in 98; the EFI bikes are better.
Is it possible that the ECM is being spiked by excess voltage? Is there a permanent fix that doesn't rely on an ECM?

Do you guys carry this slip-on and if so, part # and price? Also, is there any performance difference between this and the D&D Big Boss 3 1/2s slip-ons?

I have a 2002 flhtc,And from day one, I have had a problem with the belt getting loose. The Axle bolt and the cam plate loosens up after about 1500 to 3000 miles of riding. I do not ride hard, No burn outs , just ride.
Is there a fix for this ? or Has any one heard of this before?
I have gone threw one belt, and went with the side car belt this last time,
I do know after about 500 miles or so you need to tighten it back up for your adjustment for the streching of the belt.. I need HELP lol

I have A 2002 flhtc from, day one, I have had a problem with the rear axle nut, and cam plate loosen up. And then the belt is out of adjustment, which makes the bike vibrate.
Has there been any fix for this problem? or has any one had this problem?
