I have been dealing with this CB on my 06 now for some time. When I transmit everyone says it has a lot of static noise in it. I have checked all of the connections and put a SWR meter on it but it still does this. I wonder if I just have a bad radio. Any thoughts on it.

Hey all, I washed the Wide Glide on Sunday evening, then ran it for a few minutes to be sure it would work on Monday AM. Yeah, sure.
So I go to leave for work yesterday I tried to start / warm-up. Turned on the switch, hit the start button and poof--all lights, dash, everything, went out. Tried cycling the switch, turned it back on, hit the switch--again, same thing. So I rolled it back in the garage to park. Just for giggles I cycled the switch again and it fired. So I rode to work. At the end of the day it did the same thing, only this time it never fired.
Now when I turn to "on", there is nothing. The alarm sets up and blinks but maybe the battery is just strong enough to run it.
All fuses are good, and I can't tell for sure but it all seems dry. I'm not...

Well I finely got cycle gear off there but & had them replace my front tire with a real front tire , A couple of months ago they put a new tire on my E Glide & handling went out the window ,they put a rear tire on the front , well after a few calls to the store I called Metzler tires & told them when & where I bought there tire , then I wanted about 30min & called the store back & what do you think , they said to bring my wheel right in & they will replace it , so for father day my daughter & I took off for a good days ride , It was like rideing a new bike
