Dakota Digital Mini speedo / tach

Hey guys,
Has anyone out there installed one of these (model # HLY-3015) on your scoot, and how much hassle is it to do? I purchased it with a magnetic speed sensor, and fabricated a bracket to mount it, but have yet to start on the wiring. Any suggestions on how to do this the most painless method would be highly appreciated.

Okay things have changed since my original post.
I am installing S&S cams for a FLHPI Twin88 2003, the cam is S&S 570G Gear Drive Cam Kit & Performance Valve Springs. Should I also look at going to the 95" 1550 top end while the work is being done to replace the valve springs. What in addition to Cylinders/pistons & rings will I need to replace? Does it make since to do this now?

Any advise will be appreciated!

I have a 2004 Road King Classic with the standard Dunlop D402 that came with the bike. I have heard some good info on the Avon Venom tire, but would like some input.

Rear Hub/Belt Pulley ?

I have a 95 Dyna wide glide.

It has a slightly over sized tire on the back, I would like to space the belt pulley .250 further away from the tire. But when i put the spacer between the pulley & the hub there is very little of the center of the hub for the pulley to center on. Maybe a .0625

Is this enough? Or will the five bolts center it enough?
