I have a 2004 Fatboy and I am about to install V&H Bigshot Staggerds,It says to replace the factory exhaust donut gasket, however it seems that either the factory ones are either gone or crushed ,either way I can't even see them to remove them I am fairly mechanically inclined but this one has me baffled(no pun intended) So are they actually there and crushed or what ?

I am using Map M807-180 (Reads 05 model V&H True Duals with oval slip-ons, Stage 1 ECU and Screamin Eagle Air Filter) on my 2003 FLHT. Bike runs ok. I biggest probelm is still getting decel pop. At idle when I give a quick throttle up to 3000 I get the decel pop. The higher I go the more decel pop.
It is a new install and haven't done alot of riding. Should I try a different map? This is the closest I could find to my setup.
My Setup:
2003 FLHT
V&H OVALS
V&H True Duals
Stage 1
High Flow Air Filter

Do any of you laced wheel riders have issues with your back wheel spokes?? I have had nothing but trouble ... loose, broken, etc. At this point I am considering the expensive option of custom wheels but before I drop the coin I wanted to know if there were any words of wisdom on the sharp looking but troublesome laced wheels. I ride a RK Classic and have thought about putting a solid disk on the back only ... heck, you don't really see that wheel anyway.
