I had a mainshaft pin shear. It damaged my clutch shell. (Warped it). I have searched and found that in most parts catalogs up to 1984 are covered. But skips 1985 and starts back at 1986 so on. Just don't understand this?? The clutch shell for this year is listed at the dealer. But is almost impossible to find. They said I should concider going to an enclosed belt drive. That would cost over $1,000 dollars. What is the story on this year and why is it discounted?

I have a 2004 FLHTCI with a stage 1 air cleaner, revtech DFO, and V&H Duals. I am looking to pick up some supertrapp slip-ons and can't decide on the 4" megaphones or 3" internal disc. Is there any performance difference between the two?
Also, how many discs would I run in the left/right mufflers with my setup. I assume the left should have fewer discs to make up for the shorter headpipe length in the duals.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Upon repairing an oil leak from my push-rod seals;I noticed the push rods are
slightly different in length(SCREAMIN EAGLE ajustables).I think the longer one is
for the exhaust side but don't remember since I did the 95" kit.Does anyone
have an answer?...THANKS!!!

I posted earlier asking about what type of oil to use in my 883 XLH. I was going to buy the synthetic but then stopped because the mileage is low. If I remember right, synthetic shouldn't be used for the first 3,000mi. Is this right and should I only use dino oil up to the mileage? Any oil recommendations?
Thanks,
Steve

Can someone tell me whether I will need a special mounting bracket/kit for these pipes on my bike? They should sound great!
Thanks.
