I have a 2005 softail standard. I want to change the primary case cover to a chromed one. Anyone know if the original frosty one can be bright chromed
economically-like would it be cheaper than buying a new chromed one from H-D?

I have an FLSTC that is injected. I am looking to install the V&H pro pipe and an Arlen Ness intake. I know that I will need to get the chip burned so that it is set up with the correct timing. I have also read about the flexible tuning devices. If I were to use one of these, would I need to get the chip burned? Is there one device that is better than another? I have only read about the V&H Fuelpak but have been told that there are others.
Your input is greatly appreciated.

I just put some new bars on my Road King Custom and I had to tighten the clamps down scary tight (thought I might strip the bolts or something) to get them to not move when I pull on them or push on them like when I stop hard. The bars are the same size but are not gnarled, they are just slick. Is their something I can do to make them hold better? They don’t move now but I had to tighten them much tighter than the stock ones were. I plan to run the wires on the inside and put on some new grips soon so I will have to take them off again anyway and would like to feel more secure about the bars.

Ok, I'm an idiot...I'm trying to change my primary fluid and I'm not sure exactly where to put it in. I have it drained and the derby cover off...I'm just not exactly sure how to fill it! Help!
