Got an 02 Fatboy, getting a new paint job here in Louisville KY. Got a small problem in the horizon. I noticed that when I remove my seat, a badlander. I have scratches on the fender under it. I finally got permission from the boss to get this done and want to ensure that nothing stupid happens to it. I am looking to see if there is some kind of kit or fit I can do to this seat to strenthen it so it will not sag in the middle and rub on the fender under the passengers seat. I also had the same kind of problem with the stock seat. It does not matter if I have a passenger or not it still scratches the fender.
Hope to get feed back for this, you can e mail me at PPlayle@aol.com with replies
Thanks Playle

I have a 2003 e-glide standerd and when I am riding I feel like I am having to stretch for the bars. I was wondering does anybody know how hard it would be to add some apes to it ? I have never seen one with apes but I have friends that say they have. Thanks for the help!

This recent article on Florida's repealing their helmet law doesn't bode well for other states trying to do the same. Nevada keeps putting a bill forth to repeal their helmet law and it's voted down every time..easily. While I believe in the right to choose, these numbers really make one think. Who's paying the doubling of medical costs for these injuries?
Even when I'm in a state that doesn't require me to wear a helmet, I do any way, especially if I'm going to get up to speed on a highway. In fact I switched from a half-shell to a full-face helmet several years ago while I was still primarily riding a big cruiser. It scares me around Las Vegas to see these people riding a supposeldy 49cc or less (1 hp...

Got a 01 FLHTCI w/ intermittent speedometer problems. The needle goes haywire at times then drops to 0. Other times it's fine. Is it possible there's a loose connection or something? How do they work? It's a big distraction to see my speedometer waving at me all during a ride, ya know?
