just a quick question about increasing the intake from 40mm to 44mm carb, is there any tweaking of the engine or just a matter of getting the conversion kit. I have a 04 dyna low rider 1450 twin cam 88. I want to go to a 44 carb but wondering if its more than just converting over and adjusting out the jets.

Been mighty busy. My wife and I started a bail bond business. Well, it's an office for the owner here in our little town. We work strictly on commission. We've done okay so far, only the third month at it. We landed a 50K bond a couple of weeks ago that will pay us next month. Anyway, I've been doing bike work here and odd jobs to pay for my racing. I'm even writing a column for a regional Texas magazine now called "Thunder Roads Texas". They wanted some sport bike input into what was previously an all cruiser rag. I'm doing a racing/sport riding thing for them called "The Fast Line". Running a full schedule of endurance in CMRA's mini series and Texas Mini GP. I'm riding for Billy Wiese, who runs WRW Racing and is a big time AMA tuner. This year he's not working in AMA road...

Hello, I was wondering if someone knows why suddenly my radio in my 98 FLHTCI would suddenly not tune and radio channels. I only hear hissing. The tape player is working fine. Is it possible for the antenna to unplug from behind the faring? Is there a fuse for the tuner that is separate from the tape player or just one radio fuse? Thanks for your wisdom.

Hello,
Today wasn't my lucky day. I installed a PCIII USB on my 2004 FLHTI along with Rineharts and an SE intake at the same time. All this was done a short 6 months ago. Since I wanted to stay away from the Dealership to get a reflash, I installed the supplied map 807-143 for the stock ECU. Been running like a top for the last six months.
WELL........today on the way home from work in the rain, the bike started missing, popping, and losing power. The engine died on the highway in another mile or so. I still had all lights, gauges, turn signals etc. Engine light was on. Tried restarting and it would turn over but not fire.
I unplugged the PCIII and plugged in the stock ECU back in.
The check engine light went out after the switch was turned on and the bike started right...
