Can anyone with experience on tuning EFI models on a Dyno machine give me a little insight as to what to make sure is being done by the tech tuning my bike ?
I would imagine ALL techs doing dyno tuning would be properly trained and qualified on thier shop equipment , but who knows ?? Just looking for a heads up on the whole thing???

What the heck is it?

I have a kawasaki ninja that discharges the battery. If the bike is ridden hard using 2nd, 3rd, 4th at about a steady 5000 RPMS the bike seems ok, this is on 60 min ride. If the bike is ridden in 1st and 2nd at low rpms the battery discharges and the bike eventualy stalls and won't start (15 min ride )

I just ordered a set of 2 into 1 thunder headers for my 95" 2000 FLHRI, I'm going to have my bike tuned on a dyno at my local shop and they say they have the harley brand race tuner for EFI models and would need to install that to be able to tune it correctly. My question is , is there a major difference between the one at the shop and the Dyno Power Commander ? Or will they both basically do the same job ? I plan on gettin a newer FLHT in a year or so and its a different power commander for anything newer then an 01 EFI ? so I was thinking on just going with the HD tuner on my roadking for the time being and just wanted to make sure it will do the job ? Any help would be much appreciated.
