What's Up!!! Just Joined Yesterday When I Found Out About Directparts.com In The Jan. Issue Of Hot Bike. I Have A 04 Dyna Low-rider And Just Found The Vance & Hines Big Raduis Pipes, Will These Work On Stock Bike Or Are They For The Big Cube Motors, If They Will Work On Stock Can They Be Run Without The Baffles And Not Loose The Low End, Or Would The Big Shot Staggered Pipes Work Better.

Hello All,
I'm leaning toward the purchase of the Python slash cut slip ons for a new 05 classic. The motor will be stock going to rejet the carb, NO EFI I'm still old school, and do the air cleaner.
Does anyone know if there is any significant difference in SOUND between the pythons and the oval Vance&hines slip ons? The V&H cost about $120 more then the Pythons and the Pythons are made by V&H, so what's up with that?
Any feed back would be appreciated, Thanks

I have 96 Heritage that seems like it never gets enough attention because it is always something. Anyhow, when I bought the bike last year I was given a list of all the high performance things that had been done to the bike which is what intrigued me to go with it. Now in hind sight it may not have been the best thing for me to do. Well of the HP items on it was a BDL enclosed belt drive. I personally can not tell the difference in performance between chain and belt. The problem I have not is that the belt is loose. The shop I took it to wants to charge me $1500-$2000 to fix it . I was told that the clutch hub splines and the main drive splines are worn. The remedy from the shop was to rebuild the tranny and replace the hub. My question for any one is how good is BDL products and...
