Okay I am gonna go further down the "slippery slope" of HD "enhancements".
Iam 94.7% sureI am gonna take my 02wideglide(carb/stage one)) and remove the heads for port and polishing( family owns a machine shop so labor will be free by me)
However I think I have asked some of this before..
Remember I am not Hd performance minded(those word really do not go together for me....no offense.... "better the flow the better easier the go") engine will have to work on trips.
1. Are there any little hiccups to watch out for when removing the tank etc?
2. How good are the head bolts to reuse on a HD?
3. Do ya sell a gasket kit(CD) etc?
4. The engine will go 103 and heard/see it work well but with stock cams...etc?(just in case I get caught up in the moment...really doubtful)
5. Like I...

I am considering a Kuryakyn Crossroads Crankcase Breather for a 1999 Fatboy with a Mikuni Carb. I think it looks pretty clean and is pretty affordable. I was wondering if anyone that may have used one has any comments or complaints. Thanks.

OK guys do not shoot me for posting a ride in a cage but it was a daddy and daughters only weekend. Mama was at work.
I took my daughters up to Frankenstein's castle Sunday. This was the most perfect fall day that I have ever seen in Germany. The castle is located in the "Odenwald" or Oden Forest region. CD I do not know if you ever made it over to this area but this was really wonderful.
Shopguy and AFNurse this is a must ride for next year. The castle was closed so me and my kids walked the trail which goes around the castle. It is a 1 mile trail and the forest is truly wonderful. The roads going up to the castle are winding but with a wonderful view around each 90 degree curve.
The way down is even better. A small road covered with trees. The only...

I guess I'm slowing down because I already learned it all ...ok. maybe NOT ...But I have come a looong way thanks to the many helpfull people I've met on this forum. Thanks everyone...I'll try to be a good teacher to tommorrows freshmen cyclists.
