I have a 1999 twin cam, that I purchased about two years ago, in the middle of the winter,so I didn't get the chance to ride it. It had been Triked with a Champion kit and the same time had the cam bearings, cams followers and lifters replaced. It ran fine for a while, then every once in a while a lifter would bleed down and clatter bad. You can shut it off and restart it and it's fine. The oil pressure is fine and the oil has been changed. It acts like there is something plugging an oil gallery to a lifter.
As I understand it there is no clean out screen on the twin cam. Does anyone have an idea of how to go about repairing this thing. I am sure getting bummed out with it.
Thanks,
Bill

BIL was showing me a Windam AR-15 style 308 Rifle he bought. Said he had some special coating.
Didn't catch everything. I was talking to my OL and my SIL at the same time.
He was stating they are selling them cheap right now to get them on the market.
And they are gonna jump up on the prices.

Picked up a set of PS Mono tubes for the king, also have 2 new OEM rotors polished and a set of Lyndall Gold+ pads going on,then a little later a set of Progressive Suspension444's going on the rear...New rubbers all around, belt, front motor mount and rear rubber mounts,BDL trans pulley and seals.
Finally got a compression check done, but no leak down since my Winter Project fiasco a couple years ago.... Front cyl was 200 lbs and rear 190lbs...seems a little high to me for a TW21 with SE 9.4 flat tops and a .030 HG...Not to fussy about the 10lb difference, but it's still within the 10% range
