The Sierra Club and the U.S. Forest Service were presenting an alternative to the Wyoming ranchers for controlling the coyote population. It seems that after years of the ranchers using the tried and true method of shooting or trapping the predators, the Sierra Club had a "more humane" solution to this issue. What they were proposing was for the animals to be captured alive. The males would then be castrated and let loose again.
This was ACTUALLY proposed by the Sierra Club and by the U.S. Forest Service. All of the ranchers thought about this amazing idea for a couple of minutes.
Finally an old fellow wearing a big cowboy hat in the back of the conference room stood up, tipped his hat back and said: "Son, I don't think you understand our problem here... these coyotes ain't F****in' our...

In Washington, D.C. an old priest lay dying in the hospital.
For years he had faithfully served the people of the nation's capital
and was well known among the elected officials.
He motioned for his nurse to come near.
"Yes, Father?" said the nurse.
"I would really like to see President Obama
and Senator Reid before I die," whispered the priest.
"I'll see what I can do, Father," replied the nurse.
The nurse sent the request to the President
and Congress and waited for a response.
Soon the word arrived; President Obama and Harry Reid
would be delighted to visit the priest.
As they went to the hospital, Obama commented to Reid,
"I don't know why the old priest wants to see us,
but it will certainly help our images.
"Reid agreed that it was a good thing.

I recently purchased a bunch of parts from CV Performance, including the deluxe kit, to give my old carb some new life. I bought my ride new and have kept it in good shape through the years, with a minor rebuild to the carb about 15 years ago. It has been getting a bit rough, then the enrichener cable wouldn't stay out, and the adjuster wouldn't work, etc. Thus the overhaul route.
Got the carb off the bike, disassembled, cleaned, and woops........out fell a couple of parts I couldn't figure where they were from, or where they go. A little triangular brass piece/bar about 7/16ths long, and a little ball bearing. My guess is that the ball bearing is a check valve for the Accelerator Pump nozzle....but not sure. No clue what the little brass bar is for.
Anyone have an idea or answer?

Always amazes me the cost of motorcycle tires, now you can get the American Elite for a standard HD tire and that saves bucks but Dunlap has not released the CVO tire sizes to American Elite yet, nor does Michelin, or anyone make a tire that fits the rims, sumbitch...
$213 For the Front, Mgr will Sell for $185
$297 for the Rear, Mgr will sell for $252
Labor $200 (front and rear a bill each)
Brakes $100 (no labor incl in azzpounding labor for tires)
Total for tires $810 less mgr discount
Shit I can put 4 20 inch Michelins on my F150 for less than that with brakes.
Bought new pad for the F150 off Amazon $35 for two sets LOL
Maybe I'll just trade it in and save the Grand
