After having replaced the cam seal three times with no success (still leaks), I have decided to get a new polished cam cover for the shovel. Several reasons: Some material has been chipped away at the edge of the race where the seal goes in, causing, I suspect, some seepage, and the cover has been welded along the bottom where it was once cracked - yet another bogus part from my "rebuilder". It's an old original 70s Harley part, not merely used, but abused and sold as "used". I've had to replace a lot of those!

I believe this will fix this pesky oil leak that has been messing up my rear exhaust pipe and tranny and causing oil to accumulate on the bottom of the motor and drip to the floor. This is the last leak and is just enough to be an annoyance. The new cover comes with a bushing and...

Being a regular, red-blooded American - and one of those "potential terrorist" veteran military guys, I went duck hunting this morning, mainly because it was raining (good for duck hunting, they fly in lower). So I got out there at too dang early and sat in the rain, which turned to sleet, which turned to snow, which turned to a friggin white out!

I WANT MY GLOBAL WARMING!

Since I was driving my gas guzzling Chevy K2500, I did do my part to add to the carbon that is SUPPOSED to cause global warming....I guess it just didn't work. Or that crap that Al Gore is selling is just that......grrrrr.

Earliest major snowfall (by a month) that I've seen in well over a decade. So much for AGW. Like I didn't know that already, but now we have to really worry about the real cause in Earth's...

Sunday 10-13-13 me,wife and friend headed the back way to Wells Beach Maine. It was a cold, blustery and over cast day that never got over 50 degrees. Fog was thivk as sh*t. Wife had her heated vest on so she was good to go. It was a 290+ miles day, not a very long ride but very enjoyable. We stopped at Lords Harborside restaurant for some fresh seafood.:
