Just wondering if any of you that have removed the converter,, either by way of new header pipes or cutting it out had an increase in the sound level of your exhaust? I know with auto convertors, they muffle the exhaust note quite a bit. I have Cobra slip on mufflers and am not thrilled with the sound level. Wondering if when I change the header pipes if the sound will increase or if they are not large enough on a bike to make much difference? If I'm not going to raise the sound level, I might just look at a full system instead.

I finally have been able to get outside and do a compression test on my Road Glide. The reason that I figured that I would do another is that I saw some oil on my plug that that I wasn't just too happy with seeing. Not saying that there is anything wrong, just wanted to make sure that all was OK. My results were 175psi on the front and 177 on the rear and that was with a battery that has been sitting for a couple of weeks now. I put it on the charger and then I am going to go back out and do it again and see if I get a better reading from a fresh charged battery!

I have a 2006 Sportster XL883C, while riding at say 100km/h, the bike starting to cough, almost like backfiring continuously while you ride. also when bike is hot, it coughs when you pull away.

In the 2 State Senate recall elections in Colorado tonight which were called due to the enactment of insane gun control measures the gun grabbers were both defeated!

The Senate President has just conceded & the recall was supported by 60% in the other senate recall effort.

Elections matter & so do the actions of those elected! Don't forget to vote this November!

just seen a couple videos on yahoo about the ride on DC tomorrow 9-11-13 , they where denied a permit so are riding any way & the local leos are helping them with escorts & other parts of the ride , wife had FOX news on & call me in ,to old to move fast so I missed it But she said then talked about it
