I hope you guys can help me out!
I'm changing the brake pads on the rear of my '06 Electraglide. I have a service manual, and followed it step by step, removed the old, there is a sequence whereby you remove the inner brake pad, compress the caliper piston, install the new pad, re-assemble, stomp and release the brakes to force the piston agains the new pad holding the new pad to the rotor, so you can remove the bolts again to install the outer brake pad and the inner pad will stay in place. There's a note that says if you remove both pads at once it can make it hard to reassemble later, the anti-rattle spring can come loose. I'm finding that out now!!!

I have a 1980 sportster with a problem I can't figure out. Hoping someone can help. Bike has new jugs and pistons. Heads have been professionally done. Bike won't fire on front cylinder. Have tried everything I can think of. Short of rolling bike off cliff. Lol. Can anyone give me some suggestions as to what could be wrong? And bty thanks for letting me join your forum

Currently running SE ll slipons on 04 1200R sportster with SE intake and K n N filter. Thinking of changing to a Thunderheader 2-1 exhaust this winter, anybody find a difference in power with a 2-1 exhaust or does it just make a different exhaust tone? I'm usually at 2200-3200RPM and I shift always below 5000rpm. I don't need a race bike, just usable torque around town and decent fuel mileage on the highway.

My CVP carb parts order has finally arrived! My Friday night carb build can begin. Can anyone tell me why the slide port was recommended to be drilled to 1/8 in the past, then no bigger than 7/64, and now some say leave it as stock? I have a new slide ready to go in to replace my burnt, drilled one. Should I drill it or leave it alone and what does the drilling accomplish? I assume faster throttle response???

Took the boys to see "Pacific Rim". Check your brain at the door, get a big bucket of popcorn and a tall ICEE and have fun. Going in I thought it was gonna be bad, but it was just a lot of summertime escape action movie fun - not bad at all. Haters will hate it, but for me it reminded me of seeing the "Planet of the Apes" series back in the '70's summertimes. Just good ol' escape-the-heat fun.
To be fair, I'd also rather rip out my eyes than see that "Black Swan" critically-acclaimed crapola.
