I lost that smooth return after I shift. I have to shift then adjust lever so as to load for next gear. is this in the shift arms or a trans issue???

Will baffles that are dirty mess with the performance of your bike? Will it muffle the sound of your pipes if the baffles are extremely dirty? I do not have fiberglass in mine so that is not in the mix. Thanks.

We had our monthly chapter meeting this morning at the dealership then following that we took a ride (yes, to eat) to Laural Springs NC to a place called Freeborns Eatery and Lodge. The ride was GREAT even though it was a bit overcast. This is another biker's haven. After we ate, we got on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a spell - just long enough to get into some rain. Not bad rain though but we stopped and put on our rain gear anyhow because it was sort of chilly on top of the mountain too. After a spell we got off the Parkway and on to US 421 to Boone, NC. Stopped and got some motion lotion then headed back on 421 to home via Mountain City and Shady Valley. There's a couple of mountains that you cross in that area when you ride "The Snake".
