Well the wife's back was feeling pretty good for a change and our weather today was perfect. 82 f low humidity and a cool breeze off the ocean. She said she wanted to ride ! First time this season. We went from our north shore Long Island home to the south shore and stopped at the Off Key Tiki Bar for a drink and dinner. I pulled some pork out of the pig on a spit, yum. Live calypso band to eat to. We then headed home. Longest ride for her in a few years. About 45 miles. Her back now glaring up but she says it was worth it. God I miss riding with the OL.

Haven't posted in quite a while but I do check in regular.
I have a tire question.......... No, I'm not gonna start a which is better argument !!!
I have the original tires on my scooter yet, Electra Glide Classic, with Dunlop D 407 in size 180- 65- 16.
I have just shy of 9700 miles on them and they still look quite good. I've never gotten over 9000 on a rear on any of my Harleys before. Wondering if you guys have mileage experience with these, and what I might expect. Would like to make the season on these, but am concerned they might be like some others I have had where they look like there are a couple thousand miles for sure left in them, then they wear out in the next 500 miles. Back looks as good as the front yet, and usually on my baggers I have gone two...

30 years riding harleys. spending money very time for performance and what i thought was a gr8 build well decel pop has popped me maybe once to often. have spoken w/ a few indian riders and they sounds impressive. so lookin into this. the times the technology plus the homework the engineers have done is very impressive i must say. back in the day indian had better engineering so i think. well whadda ya hardcore riders say?

I heard today from an acquaintance that today on opening day that there are already 6 dead. Here is a video the guy I know posted. Makes you wonder do I really want to be there.
