05 wide glide shimmys on deceleration. the whole bike shimmys. doesnt do it on acceleration. checked tire pressure, pulled and checked brgs in front end,checked rear wheel alignment, checked shocks. checked front motor mount....when using a pry bar the engine will rise about 1 1/2 inches. he has no book as yet, was wondering if this is excessive. my electra has a completley differnt type of mount. any thoughts or ideas???

So, I have begun my saga for my Sturgis trip and I stumble across something strange...maybe someone can help me clear it up??!! Back in the day, I install PCIII and did stage 1 upgrade. I went from approx 45mpg to 35mpg....didn't like it, but accepted it (used the download map). about 2 weeks ago, I had my bike in for 20K service.....(I had the bike in for the 1, 5, and 10K (changed my own oil for the 15.....). Decided that with the sturgis trip, I wanted to make sure the bike was top notch. after that service, I took the bike to Chuck's place....did a complete gas tank switch...disconnected the gas lines, drained the gas, pulled out the fuel pump...put on the new tank, attatched everything and bam....done. NO other changes to the bike or the PCIII....... Now, on this ride,...

Ok guys at it again....


this time i was cruising around at a good pace and outta the blue i look down only to find that my speedo isnt working at all. I have the stock 1996 sportster speedo, no tach, it is electronic and has the digital read out for the miles, never had a problem before. i pulled the gauge cluster off and no broken wires, or any visable signs of anything that would cause it to not work. Is it possible that the sensor could cause this unit not to work? and if so i assume it is located in the tranny , but where abouts?

Story is I had ordered through my dealer and they mistakenly made pipes for earlier Dyna and not my 2006Dyna.
