On Saturday, June 9, I participated in the annual Ride For Sight. Due to several issues that I had with the ride, I sent an email off to the Ride For Sight executive on Sunday, June 10. Here is my email:

I have personally been involved with the Ride For Sight for two years, and my parents were involved with it every year during my childhood. This ride is kind of a family tradition.

Last year, I started a team from Hanna, which was comprised of a group of riders who had never participated in the Ride for Sight. Last yeat was a success for us, as one of our riders was amongst the top fundraisers for the province. Just purchased an 07 Heritage. Expirienced some of the same problems everyone else has (heat issues, tranny noise etc.) I seem to be expieriencing another one I cant seem to find answers to. At about 300 miles, the bike developed an exhaust leak. Took it back to the dealer, he said all it needed was the exhaust tightened. Road it for another 100 miles and I began to notice what sounded like another exhaust leak. Not as loud as the first, but more or less a "ticking" noise coming from the rear jug area. It seems to be a little louder under acceleration. I took it back to the dealer....he looks, scratches his head, says he can hear the same noise as me, but it is definitely not an exhaust leak. Suggested I ride the hell out of it. To me, thats not acceptable, so I have another...

anyone have any good numbers for plug gaps? i run champ, ra8hc in a 06 1450 with v/h, LS's with buffles and se/ac. i'd like it to light up like an explosion:devil: they're @ about .40 now

After a one year's "official" absence, the Hollister Motorcycle Rally (July 6-8) is back with Power House Productions in charge. The city council's concerns about security have been answered, and the rally is just a few weeks away.

Last year with the official cancellation, I swept into town and picked up a couple of "We Don't Want Bikers" t-shirts that should be an ebay item at sometime in the future.

Kevin and the crew are welcomed again at our house, and this year's production should be light years ahead of what has/has not happened in the past.
