This to the Rinehart community, or anyone with the knowledge I guess, but I just read where Rinehart has came out with a "new" High Flow performance baffle with a built in torque chamber. I currently have the High performance 2 1/2 baffle but the new one with the torque chamber is 2 1/4. I am curious if anyone has heard the new one in action to see what the sound difference is.

Has anyone figured a way to minimize the mess we all face when we change
our filters? It's almost worth the stealers price just to avoid the hassle. There must be a better way!?

I've decided to trade in my Heritage for a touring model this year. Last week in Laughlin I had plenty of bikes to eye and now I'm torn between models.
I really like the whole set up of the Street Glide, however my girlfriend (soon-to-be wife) likes the Electra Glide w/tourpack since it has the full backrest and extra storage for longer trips. I agree with having the tour pack but also want something lean for my daily commute.
I'm down to 2 options. Go with the Street Glide and figure out how to mount a bquick release tour pack, or the E-Glide Classic and strip it down to look more like the FLHX.
Anyone care to share their opinion?

I have a 2001 Softail Standard that I've done a lot of customizing on. I've also ridden it a lot - 56,000 miles on it now. I really want a 6 speed transmission and I can't decide if I should upgrade my current tranny or buy a new Harley that comes with a 6 speed.
Does anyone have any experience with putting the 6 speed guts in a stock transmission? What are your thoughts on doing this with the mileage I have on my bike?
It runs great (other than I need another gear), but I'm afraid that as soon as I do something expensive to the drive train like this it's going to die on me. I also know that the used bike market sucks and I'll never get out of it what it's worth to me. And I have a carburetor which I love. I don't think they even make them with carbs anymore. I think I've just...

I rode both Saturday and Sunday this past weekend and had a couple of incidence's where caged drivers where being really stupid and one dump sh7t women on a bicycle.
On Sunday I was mapping out the ride for our HOG chapters poker run this comping July. On several occasions there were drivers that started to pull out and when they heard my bike they immediately stopped. Another guy was riding with me on the route and he has stock mufflers. We were riding around a lake that also has a lot of families on bicycles peddling around on the roads with their kids. I went by this one family and with no problem, they heard me coming. My friend Rick who always rides slow and falls behind was passing up those same people and they all decided to cross the road and turned in front of him. He...
