"99" 1200S Sportster, many extras: 3 ignitions(stock, SE 6800 rpm, & SE 7500rpm with SE matching coil) 2 seats(Badlander & Pillow) sissy bar, backrest & luggage rack; custom made saddle bag mounts & leather bags; SE air cleaner; Supertrapp tuned 2 into 1 exhaust w/ open and closed tipps and extra disks; upgraded carb; adjustable suspension (spring rate and damping both up and down); I've never looked but I think the cams are a bit hotter than stock. Owners manual, Harley Davidson shop manual, and Harley davidson parts manual. If you need to get there fast, this is the bike to do it on. There may be other extras but I'm old and forgot also too lazy to go look. less than 1200 miles, tires are near new. so about a month ago, i had my bike in the shop having a lot of stuff done, that needed to be done, most of it was mechanical to bring the bike up to date, top end, bigger alternater, yoda yoda yoda.......
but the 2 things i added, that to me were just about looks.......has changed everything......i cant go anywere now, or park the bike without sombody making a comment, befor i was just another bike in the crowd......
i added those ganster white walls, as my son calls them, and a set of 6" boom cans for mufflers, and the booom cans do stick out........
the first question i get is .........ARE THEY LOUD!!!!
wich by the way they are not!!!!
talk about a conversation peice.......my only complaint is that they drag when leaning heavy, drop offs........those are ugly...

I got the tanks off for somone who is getting them painted but I need to remove the knurled metal reset knob to install correctly and I forgot what the trick was.
thanks

CRANKING UP THE PIGLET YESTERDAY, BEEN AWHILE IN THESE NECK OF THE WOODS:angry: MONTHLY WARM UP, I NOTICED THAT THE FRONT ROCKERBOX WAS HOT HOT TO THE TOUCH AND THE BACK ONE WAS JUST WARM. THIS KEPT FOR THE HOLE 20 MIN OF IDLE. SO IS THIS A NORMAL THING FOR ONE JUG RUNNING HOTER THAN THE OTHER? ALSO THE FRONT PIPE IS WHERE I GET THE BLUEING NONE ON THE BACK.
