That tomorrow, December 7th is the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

They say that those who fought, worked, suffered shortages of about everything and the many, many thousands that gave their all make up Americas greatest generation.

I do not think that there is a single doubt that this is true. Those Veterans are dying off in the thousands a week. Take a second to thank a vet for what they did in WWII. This country is what it is because of their sacrifices.

I was at the VA today and they were setting up a memorial to the vets. A ceremony will be held commencing at the exact time that Pearl Harbor was attacked. I am going to make a point of going to thank and honor those WWII vets that are there.

I know I haven't logged in in quite a while and the reason I'm here now is because I got the notice that Direct Parts has closed. I've bought quite a few parts from them in the past and was planning on finally getting the new pipes I've wanted right after Christmas but now...I'll have to shop somewhere else. Anyone have suggestions on where to buy stuff for good prices?

i know it has only been a day or so, but it sure is nice to come here and see posts on the board about other things besides the move......and in time i am sure more will be posting......looks like we may be on our way back up!!!!

I have seen these and other "bracket" looking "kits" for lowering a Sportster by 1". This particular one is S.S., but others appear to be welded steel painted black. Anyone familiar with them? Are they as easy to install as claimed?
