I JUST BOUGHT A 1991 FXR P. CAN ANYBODY OUT THERE TELL ME IF THERE IS A DIFFERANCE BETWEEN THE P AND ANY OF THE OTHER FXR MODELS?
I KNOW ABOUT THE LIGHTS AND SIRENS. ALSO THE FAIRING WHICH IS LONG GONE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE GEARING WAS ANY DIFFERANT? HAS THE IGNITION BEEN UPGRADED? IS THE ENGINE ANY DIFFERANT THEN OTHER EVO'S?
WHAT ABOUT THE FRAME? I HEAR ALL SORTS OF DIFFERANT THINGS FROM OTHER OWNERS. I HAVE BEEN TO HARLEY AND SOME OF THEM AT HARLEY DON'T HAVE BOOKS THAT GO BACK PAST 1996. SO NOW I COME TO MY NEW HOME FOR ANSWERS. I DO FEEL A DIFFERANCE IN THE GEARING FOR SURE. ON MY LAST FXR LR I WOULD GET ON THE FREEWAY AND BE LOOKING FOR THAT 6TH GEAR. ON THIS BIKE AT TIMES ON THE FREEWAY DOING MY
75 MPH OR SO. THERE ARE TIMES I HAVE NO NEED FOR 5TH.
ANYWAY IF ANYONE...

I didn't want to hijack the thread in another section, but I saw a discussion in "Hot new information about the store" about Corbin and Mustang seats that I think is worth commenting on. Skip to the last paragraph for the "Tech Talk" part!
I road to Hollister a few years back to see about getting a Corbin seat, and checked their shop out while trying hard to get a salesperson to talk to me. When I finally got a guy's attention, it turned out that he wasn't the one to talk to about seats. I had other things to do (like ride instead of waste another 30 minutes waiting), so I left with no hard feelings. Went back again a few weeks later, and same freakin' story - so I left again and went to Hollisters' H-D dealer (which was newly opened at that time). But I still didn't find a new...

Well, it’s that time again. Do I stay or do I go?
Screw it, I’m going. I’ll have to air out the tent soon cause Sturgis is on my mind. If anyone’s headed to Sturgis for the 65th annual it would be great to run into anyone from this forum either on the way or at Sturgis.
I will be leaving South California Saturday (8/5/06) morning early so I can get as much of the desert
behind me in the morning. I’ll probably take the 15 up past Salt Lake City the first day. The next few days are whatever happens. I just hope to ride around Wyoming and Montana for a while.
The only thing that is certain is that I will end up at the Hogs Heaven Campground Tuesday night or Wednesday. Probably the later.
I usually stay at Sturgis doing the local rides and then hi-tail...

Has anyone installed a PC3 on a 2006 Dyna? I am still having issues with popping on decel, and coughing when starting off. I have been to 2 HD dealers and both are refusing to do the Injector bulletin. I have been told everything from we don't know about a bulletin to we can't replace these unless the problem is found on a "completely stock" bike.
I am going to try and fix the problem with a Dynojet PC3 but like everything else new for this bike, there is limited information. I am looking for information that you can provide to me regarding the results and any issues you have had since installation. Also I would like to know what setup you have on the bike (Pipes, ECM stage, Filter, etc.)
If this does not take care of the problem, I will probably go see about trading it for a...
