Hey Guys, this my first post...I have a question...I have a 97 RK, it has the stock 130 or 140 tire on it now (rear)...my brother in law says there is a company who makes a narrower belt and pulley for the bike so that I may be able to get a little fatter (up to a 160-170) on it...of course there are high dollar swingarm deals etc, but I don't want to go that route...any suggestions?

I just bought a 2001 Dyna Wide Glide and the front disc makes a scraping noise when the brake is off.
I went to the dealer and he told me to put a bevel on the leading edge of the pads and clean everything with brake clean. I did all that and the noise went away for a while
but it's back.
What else can I do to get rid of this noise?
Thanks.

Thanks.

OK, I need some definitive input from a real mech-tech - will this carb be a good choice on my '99 FLHR TC88, given that I routinely go through major altitude shifts (sea level to 10Kft, garaged at 4Kft). I have the stock (but drilled) CV now w/high flow air cleaner, SE slip-ons but no other mods. Direct Parts has a GREAT deal on this kit now, so I'd appreciate a timely response. Making a 2000 mile run at the end of the month, too, so the clock is ticking......thanks in advance!

I have a bro that has a 73 FLH, his bars has tabs welded to them for the windshield, looks like factory, not some custom thing, he used to live in Cali and says if he remembers right, they look like bars from a police bike, he has his for 9 years now and its not an old police bike. I have looked at all kinds of catalogs with no luck, i f any of you have some or know where I can get some please give me a shout, I like the way it looks and feels goin down the road.

I'm looking at a 2000 Heritage Softail for my wife. Any info or other feedback on this model or on the early TC88 would be appreciated. Bike has 15,000 mi on it. Appears well taken care of. Pure stock. Thanks.
