Since I have to change the lifters on my Sportster, I figured that this is the time to add an oil pressure gauge. Any suggestions on which one to use? Thanks.

Attention MASH 4077
So you might have noticed we (i) closed the thread down,
wasn't anything wrong with it, or that it was out of line,
After a while some threads just start taking all the posts
and become the main and only thread running on a board
so it's time to close it down. Typically it encourages new posts
and we end up with more discussions, which are the life of a board.
So in the interest of new posts, and because that thread had
more subject lines internally than the OP it got to time to
close it down.
Thank

Was wondering if there's a way to get inside the speedo I have so I can run a new wire to see the thing at night. I know these things are made so you can't tamper with them, but I'm thinking there must be some way to get around that. Any ideas short of buying a new speedo? Here's a couple of pictures of it.

In response to Roadsterguy on the old "ran out of gas" thread (yes, it finally did run out of gas!) : I think getting a newer oil bag cap, with a dip stick no less, is a nod in the "more modern" direction I'm taking, but about as far as I'm willing to go for now
.

Mentioned this in another thread and thought I'd put it where it belongs. Saturday at least 50 of us went on a poker run to benefit a guy who'd been in a bad motorcycle wreck. Happened a few miles from where I live near the town of Speed. He was passing an SUV and the driver turned left in front of him. They let him out of the hospital for a short time in a wheelchair to be with us when we all returned from the ride.
We rode to several bars and the Harley dealership in Rocky mount, not staying any longer than a half hour at any one place. It was a good run because we spent most of the time in the saddle. Had a great 12 hour day out on the scoot with no problems and perfect weather. Couldn't have asked for a better day
