I'm going to paint the inner fairing on my 06 Road Glide to match the Deep Cobalt color. The trouble I'm having is trying to get a dealership to give me the paint code so that I can get the paint. They tell me that they don't have the codes. The dealership wants to sell me a quart of the paint for $96.45 + another $42 for the activator. They don't sell it by the pint and a quart is way more than enough. Does anyone know of a web site where I can get the 2006 paint codes????

Rode over to Beeville, Texas, to meet up with some fellas that post on the Two Wheeled Texans board. Now, I've never ridden with any of these guys before, just chew the fat on that board. Some guys from the Corpus area, apparently jealous of the other Texas areas and their get togethers, wanted to get a south Texas ride going. Beeville being equidistant to most of us, we gathered there. It's only about 80 miles for me. We had five bikes, one old F2 Honda (old tech 600cc sport bike), one Aprilia RSV (1000cc V twin sport bike), one Honda superhawk (1000cc V twin sport bike), my SV650 (a 650cc V twin sport standard), and a 1200S Suzuki Bandit (1200cc sport standard four banger). The guy on the superhawk knew the roads. WOW, I was totally unaware there were that many good roads that...

Hi Guy's. I need some help trying to find a solutionto a vibration problem on a friends bike. He runs a '97 Dyna Wide Glide. About a week ago he started getting a vibration that he says rattles his eyes. The vibration is there at idle or higher rpm. While the vibration is more pronounced at lower speeds and rpm's, you can see it in the bike even when he is sitting still. He has changed the motor mounts ( all of them) and it is not any better. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
(Big Evil )

I finally got a chance to get out and ride some yesterday as all I do lately is ride to school a couple of days a week.
I rode out to Pahrump, NV from Las Vegas (about 70 miles west and 8 miles from the California border) and from there did a loop through Death Valley (mostly in California). I've ridden across the park a few times, but I took my time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised how hilly and curvy the roads are. After riding to Shoshone on hwy 178, I rode up and over a couple of passes to include Jubilee Pass before descending down into the main valley where Badwater is (about -290' below sea level..lowest spot in the US). Outside how flat it was across this saltflat area (the road winds along the edge and isn't straight at all), most of the time was going up and down and...
