HOW THE D-DAY INVASION WOULD BE REPORTED BY TODAY'S PRESS
NORMANDY, FRANCE (June 6, 1944) Three hundred French civilians
were killed and thousands more were wounded today in the first
hours of America's invasion of continental Europe. Casualties were
heaviest among women and children. Most of the French casualties
were the result of artillery fire from American ships attempting to
knock out German fortifications prior to the landing of hundreds of
thousands of U.S. troops. Reports from a makeshift hospital in the

I'm having a problem similar to the ones being discussed in the Sportster No Spark thread, and I've come to the obvious conclusion that I need to buy a tester to pin down the problem. There was a local shop that always used to let me borrow theirs, so I never bothered to buy one, but now they're out of business, so I'm on my own.
My question is: What should I look for in a tester? Will any cheapo voltage meter do the job, or is there something specific I should be looking for?

I have an '02 fxst softail standard with stock rear rim and 130 tire. I picked up a 2004 rear rim and 150 tire on ebay the rim looks identical to mine, however when I installed it with stock caliper and spacers the tire was considerably off center to the left as viewed from the rear. The wide tire kit from H-D has a new brake caliper and spacers which I suppose would correct this problem, but wouldn't you think if the rim is the same it would still be centered no matter how wide the tire is? I was wondering if anyone knew if I pick up a rear caliper from an '03-'05 softail, that came stock with the 150 tire, and bought the spacers, if that would center the tire. Thanks in advance for any input.
