Help? I just converted my 883 sportser to a 1200. Harley 1200 barrels and
screaming eagle pistons and rings. The engine starts right up and idles fine.
When I start off down the road it seems to be starving for gas. When I pull
the enrichner out it seems to run fine. The main jet is a 180 and the idle
jet is a 40.The needle jet has 3 washers on it(whats that about? Also the
air fuel mixture is out 3 turns. thanks, Bernie

I have had the same 1973 Harley FXE since 1978. The front brakes were rubbing pretty heavy when not applied. I have not been able to stop it. Any body have any ideas? Also when I lay the front wheel over to the left, I can get the master cylinder on the handlebars to pump up pressure as I try to bleed the system, but once I put the wheel straight ahead, the lever pulls right to the grip. Does anybody have a suggestion?

I purchased a slip on exhaust for my Road King last summer when I purchased my bike and had the dealer install the exhaust. A few months ago, I noticed the chrome peeling from the billet tip that came with my pipes. Now the pipes have very little chrome left. The xxhaust still looks okay. Has anyone experienced this? I contacted customer service and have not had a reply. Does anyone have a solution? I thought about rechroming the pieces or perhaps powder coating the tips black as my Road King is black.
