I just installed V&H straightshots on my 99 fatboalong with the scream eagle breather and air filter. When I took it out for its test run I was expecting some indications as to what sort of adjustments needed to be made to the carb. But it ran great!...... in all ranges. What am I missing?
All my info tells me I am supposed to re-jet but the way it runs tells me to leave it alone. Maybe I don't know what i'm missing.

A buddy and I are heading east from Wisconsin to Laconia, NH for bike week. June 11-19. If anyone is heading that way then maybe we could meet up! Never been out in that area either. So any advice is welcome. Thanks!!

Does anyone out there know what the proper procedure is for
installing an S&S carburetor super e intake manifold to the heads on a 1980 shovelhead? I must be missin somethin as I've read the ink off the pages of all associated instructions/manuals with no specifics. The o-rings are
slightly smaller than the circumference of the flanges on the intake
manifolds & it's **** near impossible to install the clamps. Matter
of fact the manifold won't go on if the clamps are attached first.
Help anyone??

I am looking at installing a new exhaust on my 02 HD deuce. Preferably a 2 into 1 exhaust system. Anyone have thunderheaders and what is your opinions of them as far as bluing,sound and HP. All the stuff I read says they're the best performance pipes out there(what do you people think) but just don't look the greatest. Evan though I just found a model put out by Arlen Ness called thunder ness. They look pretty good. If I go with thunder headersI will probably go with these. If you have any pics that would be great too.

Also how do they compare to Vance & Hines pro pipe HS??\

I built a custom softtail and I have 2000 miles on it. When I let out the clutch from a standing start and give a decent amount of gas I hear a squeal coming from primary. It seems to be coming from the rear of the primary so I think its the clutch. There is no squeal once I get going thru any other gears. Clutch does not slip and the bike pulls great. 100" revtech. Letting the clutch out slow with just a little gas does not squeal. Kind of embarrassing at a light. Nice looking bike but squeals like a hog Any thoughts?
