Hello
Can Anyone help me with a electrical problem I am having with my 1988 Softail Springer. The problem I am having is when I switch the ignition switch to ignition and start the bike everything is good. As soon as I turn the switch to lights the bike dies. I then have to turn the switch to off, wait a second for the breaker to reset and then start all over starting the bike again. After about 2 or 3 tries it will stay running. I have checked all the wires for bare spots on the lights, took it to the shop, they couldnt find anything. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem, that could give me some ideas to look for. Also this dosent happen all the time but when it does it it is consistant seems like all day long, then it will go away for a week or so.

Just wondering what other's experiances have been with the process of Tuning a power commander on a dyno..... I am looking at the possibility of having one of the "power commander international centers" here in Germany tune my bike. They are estimating 2 hours to do it. They are also quoting about 120 Euros per hour (at the current exchange rate, total for 2 hours would be $300-350)..... is this a reasonable cost or should I wait until I get the bike to the states? Thanks for any input!!!!

I am trying to change the rear brake rotor on my '99 fatboy. The bolts that hold the rotor to the wheel are on pretty good. So good that i already snapped a bit. I tried some heat, no luck. I might try a impact wrench next.
Any Ideas how to get those five suckers off.

Hi youall, new to the site, sure glad i found it. I have an 81 lowrider and the clutch grabs or wonts to inch forward while at a stop with clutch depressed. I have adjusted the clutch and controls several times. It seems to work for about 5 miles or until the clutch warms up. This is also causing shifting problems. I'm thinking the clutch is worn out, any suggestions. Thanks for your help. :

I've got an 02 RK with a Mikuni 42 with BUB slip-ons. I want to go with a True Dual set up. I'm looking at either the Vance & Hines or Bub headers. The V&H are about $140 cheaper. They appear to be the same, so I assume it would come down to fit and finish?
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Bill
