Got a electric fuel pump from the dude that is my buddy and I used to help out for a few years.
Drained all the gas out of my gas tank. Replaced the fuel line hose.
Charged the batteries over nite.
Got up this morning and Pulled it to the gas station about 10 miles away.
melt something burning. Couldn't tell where it was coming from.
When I got back to the house smoke was coming from the right back axle.
Drug it down 3 blocks to the boat ramp.
STuck her in the water.
Cranked yer up and went up the lake to a creek where the wind wasn't blowing hard.
Started casting my carolina Rig and running the trolling motor as I went down a bank..
Checked the live wells and made sure the pumps would fill both live wells and the aerator would come on.
Checked the Bilge pump too.
Want to make sure...

Now that my dad has his bike, yesterday him, Hot Rider and I went out on a really nice ride. Hot Rider rrode two up with me as my Sportster is still on the mend. (But it is closer to being done). All in all, we put on just under 200 miles. We went to a place called Duffy's in a town called Montevideo MN which is usually only a 70 mile ride from me but there is construction along that way so we took a more scenic rout. The rout that we took led us on a great combination of twisties around some lakes, mild sweepers and of course some straight roads. I think a great combination for a newbie rider. We didn't leave Hutchinson MN until 6 and we got to our eating place just before 8. Duffy's is a pretty popular place for bikes and the food there isn't anything real special but for it what it...

Hello!
Last October, I installed a new inverted front end on my Train (Harley-Davidson Custom Inverted Gloss Black Front Fork Kit-48646-06A). This was not my first go around with front ends...or as a mechanic, did it professionally for years...
...All went well (or so it seemed), The bike tracks straight, no handling issues at all. The bars and risers are fine, everything is perfectly adjusted.
I get out on it after the winter this year, and damned if I don't notice that the triple tree(s) is off center when tracking straight. The tree is visibly tweaked to the right (clockwise) at what looks to be almost a half an inch. In short, I marked the center on the top tree to line it up to what I eyeballed and measure to be dead on straight ahead, put a mark at...
