I am looking to put a new seat on my Low Rider and was looking for people's experiences with their aftermarket seats. I am looking at solo seats, possibly a Mustang gel seat. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I am 6 feet tall and 235 lbs, if that matters....

A friend and I are in the beginning stages of a bike project. We need to know if there is a difference between an Evolution era Fatboy frame and a standard Softail frame. From what I can tell, they appear to be the same but I have not been able to confirm. The reason for the question is that we may have access to an original Harley Softail frame and we want it to be the same as a Fatboy. A Softail Standard or custom does appear to have more rake but I thought it might all be in the wide glide front end and 21" tire up front. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I am a first time Harley owner and don't yet know a whole lot about them. I bought a used 1989 FLHTC (56K miles). The bike had been sitting for about 4 months when I bought it. I never heard it run until I got it home and charged the battery. It started right up and ran well but my question is about the oil that spewed from the crankcase vent hose(there was also some initial exhaust smoke also but I attribute this to the excessive oil in the crankcase). There was an initial purge of oil and that was it, it did not continue. A friend in work said that the check valve on the oil pump must not be working correctly. Is it just a matter of replacing the check ball in the pump?
