Ignition Module 1988 Softail Custom
1988 Softail custom has the ignition module under the oil tank. I have to change the module. Is there anyone out there that changed the module with some hints. The service manual does not go into detail how the unit is mounted under the oil tank.

03 Road Glide, 95in kit, 203 cams, Thunderheader and HD Race Tuner. I have had problems with this bike running right since I bought it from the dealer. When I first got it, it would occasionally die at idle upon coming to a stop. After several dyno's by the dealer, it now runs ok at home. But, when I take a trip to the mountains, 7000ft, it won't idle at all. It just coughs and spits with me trying to keep it alive by hitting the throttle.
After being frustrated for nearly a year, I called Harley. They got my story, then the dealer's and called me back. They say that the Thunderheader is not a part of their upgrade kit, so results with running it are unknown. Geez, they didn't have a problem selling me the pipe!
I have since heard that Thunderheader's on EFI bikes are quite...

I just installed V&H dresser duals on my 01 Roadking (CD - thanks for the great service). I have the Screamin Eagle air cleaner kit, and am running wild pig pipes. The bike is running great, but how do I know if it's too lean or not? I'm a little concerned because of all the posts where bikes apparently ran good for a certain amount of time, then lost compression, burned valves, etc.
thanks

I've got a two part question:
I just got back from a rally and my screamin eagle pipes just weren't cutting it. As far as being loud. 1. Who makes the loudest pipes(for harley road kings) that still have the baffles in them?
2. My rear brakes are squeaking. They've been doing it(on and off) since I got the bike about six months ago. I thought it was because they were new. Now it's more noticeable. Since it's still under warranty, I wanted to have some idea of the cause before I take it back to the dealer.
Thanks!!!!
