Got to the point I hate pulling in to a gas station,or anywhere for that matter
....Sounds like the primary is coming apart when I hit the button....I cleaned all the cables and ground the paint off the muffler support bracket that the starter bolt goes through...My cop bike has a 7" ground cable that bolts to the frame right in front of the battery and has another 13" cable that goes from that point to the starter also I believe it's the regulator ground with a star terminal between the 2 ground cables, all terminals have star washers....Still kicking back...I tried feathering the start button with limited success....Battery is fully charged...
I believe the causes for kickback are...low battery, bad grounds, idle timing advanced, too much fuel, not enough fuel and compression too...

A recent article in the Kentucky Post reported that a woman, Anne Maynard, has sued St. Luke's Hospital, saying that after her husband had surgery there, he lost all interest in sex.
A hospital spokesman replied as follows. "Mr. Maynard was admitted for cataract surgery. All we did was correct his eyesight."

my 2000 rk is running great, looking for a deeper and possibly slightly quieter exhaust sound. motor is now 95 inch, 10.5 to 1 with feuling 534 cams, 1.725 roller rockers, aftermarket air cleaner, jetted, (plugs look great) and is as said carb.`looking at possible Power House Competitor tru dual or Bassini stepped tru dual my other option is start with a set of tru dual head pipes. Not looking to stir the pot of different design 2-1, merged or other options. just looking for the (sweet sound) right now have stock head pipes with 16741 V/H slipons. they are ok but just a little to much blat for my personal choice, want a deeper rumble.

Had a few hours to spare today, so I took a drive over to Atlanticade 2014 in Prince Edward Island with a couple friends. P.E.I. hosts this M.C. rally each year for the last few, really pretty province, the roads are unreal fun to drive. To get there you need to take a bridge. It is maybe 14-15Kms long. During the day I had a chance to try a friend's Triunph Thunderbird. 2012 model, beautiful bike,1600ccs, super smooth driving machine. But it seems to have no character. It was hard to explain, but I felt more satisfied riding the old Sporty.
Here's a few pics, I'd have more scenery but the group is not much into me fumbling for a camera bag every 10 minutes.
Triumph is in the last pic, with the other guy's Suzuki C90T.
