How many of you have put some kind of graphics on your bikes. The wife and I had a very interesting Sunday. We hosted a painter at our ranch. Anyone heard of Sue Hopper? My wife somehow found out that Sue and her husband that goes by the name Hopper, would be traveling right by our place as they went from one bike rally to another. I think they were going from Tyler Texas to some place in New Mexico.
Anyway, my wife and Sue talked for months about maybe they might like to stop by for a working visit. We would offer up two bikes to work on and just visit. Sue said she looked forward to just relaxing a little and still make some cash. Somehow word got out and one other guy wanted in on it as well. He was from Fort Worth. Finally, after 6 months I went for a ride. Not a long ride. That first ride is always a smidge weird after that 6 month hiatus. Took the back roads and the long way about.
Went to the dealership to get some syn3 and while there looked around, particularly at the Fat Boy Low. I'm only 5'7 and that Ultra is becoming more of a beast every year. I sat on it and really liked how bent my knees were compared to being on the Ultra. I also noticed That the Ultra and Ultra Limited are starting to have a naugahyde flap covering the humongeous wad of exposed wiring harness on the back fender. They need to do that to all of them ASAP. The exposed wiring harness is a deal breaker in my opinion. Go see and tell me what you think.
